The Aquarium of the Pacific is an awesome place to see beautiful fish, sea coral, otters, sharks, tropical birds, and a ton of other interesting sea life. A neat part of the museum is hands-on exhibit where you can pet the sting rays and a couple small varieties of sharks. It was a fun afternoon. We enjoyed watching a worker feed the sting rays small pieces of shrimp/crawfish. They would boost themselves up along the side of the pool with their fins, and flap around, splashing water on everyone around them while the man would put a piece of shrimp in their mouth. (Which is underneath thier body) Cool!
We enjoyed these beautiul "Lorikeets" which are tropical birds from Australia. They were beautiful and let us walk up right next to them. One almost landed in my hair as we walked into the Lorikeet room. The boys tried to convince them to hop on their arms, but no such luck.
